Lea grows up in a home in which she is given no protection. From being a cheerful, curious little girl, Lea sees her life brutally change when her mother returns to her ex-husband.
Lea drinks to cope with her family life. Then she gives birth to Sonia. Desiring a better life for Sonia, Lea makes a break with her family. But she soon realizes that she lacks the ability to provide Sonia a safe life. Lea is left with an impossible decision.
